We're out at Stone Bay...
CrossFit Camp Lejeune (CFCL) is a non-profit CrossFit Military Affiliate. Training with CFCL is FREE. We are Marines that use the CrossFit methodology to increase our work capacity. In other words, we use varied functional movements to safely move big weight long distances – quickly. Led by CF-certified coaches, CFCL meets at the Stone Bay Gymnasium Mon through Fri at 0600 and 1115. Ready for a challenge? Come on out and train with us! If you have questions, contact me, Tim James, at the email address above or through comments.
To all Marines who say they won't come out to CrossFit until they are in shape, check out http://www.crossfitmom.com/ (pregnant women - blocked by NMCI) and http://www.crossfitkids.com/ (kids, of course). CrossFit can be scaled for anyone. Come on out and give it a try. The longest journey begins with just one step! See this video of a scaled workout: Click here. See a mom-to-be tackle "Angie" here care of CrossFit North Atlanta.

Amazing performances at the games!! On leave this week.
Was pulling for Spealler myself,he is just an amazing athlete. Was happy that Kristan Clever was able to regain 1st place in the last series of WOD's (Ryan you will love them when you see them), her work capacity is mind boggling. In addition, you have to be humbled when the men and woman of the Master's division are throwing up faster Fran's then I can do.
I thought the programing was great, really balanced across the fitness skills. If you had a weakness, it was and did come out.
I am guessing that this year will see a lot of pistols and rope climbs in peoples WOD's and skills development. Since I have not climbed a rope for a few years (ok decades) I think I will give it a try here soon. Tried pistols this weekend, strength, flexibility and balance need some work before I get down to the bottom.
It will be interesting to watch the main pages programing over the next year to see if you can see the trend/skill that will come out in next years games.

48:15 of suck as Rx'd. Awful.
Burpover was a burpee followed by a hop over a log. Must jump with both feet together.
Underestimated how hard the C&Js would be after the burpees.
One bright note: Clean form was better than its ever been.
