Workout for Tuesday, 25 May

WOD: We'll be running FIGHT GONE AWRY to honor Col W's final workout at CFCL before his PCS.

In this workout you move from each of five stations after a minute. This is a five-minute round from which a one-minute break is allowed before repeating two more times. The stations are:

  1. 20# med ball goblet squats substituted for wall ball (Reps)
  2. Sumo deadlift high-pull: 65# substituted for 75# (Reps)
  3. Box Jump: 24" box substituted for 20" box (Reps)
  4. Push-press: 65# substituted for 75# (Reps)
  5. Row: calories (Calories)
The clock does not reset or stop between exercises. On call of "rotate," the athlete/s must move to next station immediately for good score. One point is given for each rep, except on the rower where each calorie is one point.

* Row 2000m
* Run 600m, stopping 7 times to execute 50 AS per team - carry 25/10# plates
* Execute 65# FS (60 reps) and 120 WL (120 reps) per team
* IUTSID - 2 burpees to cover 10m of buddy's movement for 130m - carry 25/10# plates
* 8 rounds of 5 Pullups/5 KTE per team
* Run 600m, stopping 7 times to execute 25 Pushups per team

We will be executing the Hero WOD, "Garrett," to coincide with the renaming of Camp Victory to Camp Lawton scheduled for this weekend in Afghanistan. Please make plans to be with us to honor our fallen brother, Marine Captain Garrett Lawton.

Don't be scared away by this workout. Hero workouts are supposed to be tough - and almost impossible. We give it our all to honor those who have given all.

I will scale you appropriately.
